Profile of the Social Work Workforce

This report presents a profile of the current social work workforce by the jobs social workers hold. In reviewing available data on education and setting, one of the key findings highlights that many individuals call themselves social workers without attaining a social work degree. The report also demonstrates that there is a gap in data collection on individual workers.
