There are several ways you can become more involved in initiatives to strengthen the social service workforce and engage with Alliance members around the world.
Join the Alliance
We invite you to take a look at our member benefits and become a member. One of the many benefits of our free membership is that you will be registered for our mailing list as well as access additional tools, documents and engage with other members. You can register to join the Alliance now by visiting our registration page. Already registered? Log in now. We also invite you to read what our members have to say about the importance of the work of the Alliance and add your voice of support.
Interact with other Alliance members around the world. After logging in, you can view the profiles of members and message individual members in order to network and discuss topics of mutual interest. Members are encouraged to keep their profiles up-to-date to allow for maximum engagement and can include a headshot as part of their profile.
Alliance Interest Groups are task-focused and result-oriented and address a specific area of social service workforce strengthening. Learn more about the initiatives of these two interest groups. You must first be a member before you can join and access additional documents related to interest groups.

Alliance Ambassador Program
The Alliance Ambassador Program aims to provide individuals working in or with the social service workforce the opportunity become a leader, inform strategy and influence policy at the local, national and regional level in support of social service workforce strengthening efforts. Read more here.
Join our Mailing List
If you aren't eligible for full membership but wish to receive occasional e-mails about Alliance activities and social service workforce strengthening initiatives, you can join our mailing list. You will receive monthly e-updates that highlight social service workforce strengthening events, tools, resources, models and best practices.
After logging in, members can contribute resources to the online open resource database, post comments on blogs, and interact with other members through member profiles and discussion boards (new features to be added in March). Members are also invited to share suggestions with the Alliance for future webinar topics and speakers, author blogs, submit worker profiles and submit new resources for the online database.
