Our Funders and Partners

Image of two hands joining together

The Alliance’s strategic partnerships have been vital for advancing our mission to promote and strengthen the social service workforce globally. We are privileged to work alongside a diverse range of stakeholders, including national and local governments, multilateral and bilateral agencies, corporate and foundational donors, non-governmental organizations, faith-based organizations, academic institutions and civil society organizations. Together, we build a workforce that is able to properly support and care for the most at-risk individuals and communities across the globe.

The Alliance always seeks to expand and diversify our partnerships with all stakeholder groups.

“Our partnership [with the Alliance] brings together the Alliance's expertise and UNICEF's global influence and reach to strengthen the social service workforce...[This has] improved the quality of services that government and partners have been able to provide to children, families and communities.“
Sheema SenGupta
Director of Child Protection, UNICEF

Current Supporting Partners

The Alliance would like to acknowledge our current supporting partners. These include:

Tides Center

The Alliance is a fiscally sponsored project of Tides Center, a U.S. registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. The Tides Center provides legal, financial and operational support to the Alliance, allowing us to operate as an independent network organization.

USAID

A generous grant from the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), under the Partnerships Plus project implemented by JSI Research & Training Institute, Inc, allows us to further our role as a global network and advance knowledge of promising practices related to workforce strengthening.

UNICEF

The Alliance has received various grants from the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) through projects at global, regional and national level. Currently, the Alliance is supported through grants from UNICEF Tunisia, UNICEF Iraq, UNICEF Sri Lanka and the UNICEF East Asia and Pacific Regional office.

Martin James Foundation

Through a generous grant from the Martin James Foundation, the Alliance recently launched a new two-year project that aims to learn from and amplify the knowledge and lived experience of youth with lived experience of care in Brazil, India and Uganda to develop a range of training and advocacy tools that will strengthen the social service workforce in support of family-based care.
