Social service workers are at the frontlines providing support, care and protection to the world’s most at-risk populations. But in many places, the social service workforce is not prioritized or supported, limiting their ability to properly support children, families and other individuals in need.  

Over the past decade, the Global Social Service Workforce Alliance has emerged as the driving force behind the enhancement of the social service workforce worldwide. As the only network of our kind, we bolster the capacity, knowledge and political will to help low- and middle-income countries benefit from a well-planned, developed and supported social service workforce.
