Using Data to Improve the Safety and Welfare of Children in Kenya

Kenya has created the Child Protection Information Management System (CPIMS) as a means for national documentation on children who are orphaned or vulnerable. The system records services provided by any groups working in the area of child health and protection. Through a standardized approach for timely collection, analysis, reporting, and sharing of child protection data in Kenya, the goal is that all child protection programs will better be able to coordinate their response.
