Implementing the Scottish Living Wage in Adult Social Care: An evaluation of the experiences of social care partners, and usefulness of Joint Guidance

This report presents the results of a qualitative study evaluating the introduction of the Scottish Living Wage to adult social care and the accompanying Joint Guidance. There was consensus among participants that the introduction of the Scottish Living Wage for adult social care workers represented a significant progressive effort by the Scottish Government to improve the working conditions and living standards of front-line staff in the sector.
