An Evaluation of the Community-Based Care and Support Services for Older Persons in a Specific Community

A comparison of the viewpoints of social workers, social work department officials and receivers of care about their roles and responsibilities within the community and their understanding of the roles of others.  The evaluation found that while most participants understand the system there was a general belief in the need for greater support of social work for the elderly and problems with work load that lead to prioritization of other cases over those of the elderly.
